![]() ![]() Guards up, everyone, the holidays are FAST approaching. Though I apparently don't have any intolerance to dairy or gluten (which I suspected, simply because I have cut those things out while Whole30-ing and felt amazing) maybe I need to get real with myself and realize it's probably just a combination of a bunch of crappy food that, no surprise, can make me feel like crap! The biggest culprit. If something makes you feel less than great, just avoid it! Or if you deem it worth it (whatever the consequences), then enjoy it! Listen to your body! Even if you do a test like this and you find out that something you may have suspected as an issue didn't turn out to be listed as an "intolerance," - you do you boo.No, really though, what am I taking away from this experience? It will not be hard for me to eliminate these items from my diet, and more importantly, apparently I'm fine to consume ice cream and cheese and gluten-y carbs with reckless abandon! So, all in all, this is pretty great news. Of all of those things, I'd guess I eat pinto beans like 2-3 times a year max if we go out for Mexican or they are in some kind of soup and poppy seeds 2-3 times a year in some kind of baked goods? Even that might be a high estimate (though I do have poppy seeds in my spice cabinet)! So that includes buckwheat, pinto beans, sardines, sole, and poppy seeds. I'm not intolerant to many foods, but those that I AM intolerant to are at a 3+ level. (click through the carousel to see full results!) ![]() As promised, results were delivered in a super easy-to-understand report, attached to an email as a PDF. Pinnertest tests for over 200 food intolerances reporting whether you have NO intolerance (green column), or whether you do have an intolerance (red column rated on a 3 degree scale +1 - low reaction, +2 - moderate reaction, +3 - high reaction. This was not backed up by any testing or scientific evidence - but rather by the fact that when I did a Whole30, I felt amazing! So my thinking was that it had to be something I cut out that was keeping me from feeling so amazing ALL the time. Today, I'm sharing the RESULTS from my Pinnertest! Haven't you been dying to find out if I can continue to eat pizza!? As I mentioned in my first post, I had a suspicion that I may have some degree of food intolerance to dairy and gluten. In case you missed Part 1 of my Pinnertest Review, you can find it here! In my first post, I talked about my experience in taking the test and gave a bit of background about food intolerance.
